A fixed maximum term
The term begins when the payment provider confirms a valid purchase and ends at the stated timestamp three calendar years later. It is a time-limited, contractual website-control right—not permanent property.
The ownership clock
Every new owner starts with three years.
Every completed purchase begins a fresh three-year ownership term for that buyer, regardless of price. No plot is sold as forever ownership.
Resale resets the clock
If an owner sells after one month or after two years, the buyer receives a new three-year term from the buyer's provider-confirmed purchase. The seller's unused time does not transfer or extend the buyer's term.
Renewal is separate
When renewal is available, the current owner sees the duration, price, and applicable terms before paying. A renewal is owner-specific, does not change acquisition basis, and never promises that the platform will operate forever.
Earlier suspension or closure
Ownership remains subject to moderation, non-payment, fraud, law, these Terms, and service availability. Hundredspots may change, suspend, or discontinue the service with reasonable notice where feasible and any remedy required by applicable law.
Grace and reclaim
At expiry, the plot enters a seven-day read-only grace period. If it is not renewed, ownership ends and a 24-hour reclaim auction may begin. Any buyer in that auction receives a fresh three-year term after verified capture.
